As I wake from dreams
Are as pale as thunder

Half a life asunder

The fixture of her eye
Has motion still within it

Seems fading by the minute

In presence of this fairied tale
Though wrecked 'pon nearer viewing
She speaks of torments not for sale
Of rivers wronged and ruined

To visit worlds cast inbetween
The real and ravaged world
To seek one semi-candid dream
where you and I unfurled

She, the fading light

She sank as passive lights adorned
Into eternal seas
Where fury, sung like woman scorned
Met choirs of debris

Breathe no more, my only friend
I've lent you creed to read or writhe
No better love letter, too bitter an end
Implore to be more of a less fading light
